Synthesis and Structure of Methyl 4-Het(aryl)-2-pyrrolidone-3-methoxycarbonylethyl-3-carboxylates

Abstract Methyl 4-het(aryl)-3-methoxycarbonylethyl-2-pyrrolidone-3-carboxylates were obtained by the reaction of 4-het(aryl)-3-methoxycarbonylethyl-2-pyrrolidone-3-carboxylates with ethyl acrylate. The structure of the obtained compounds was confirmed by physicochemical methods (1H, 13C{1H} NMR, 1H–13C HMQC, 1H–13C HMBC spectroscopy) and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis.
