SHPO-CON-265: Project: Electric Power System Upgrade

This document is a letter from the California State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) to Vandenberg Air Force Base (VAFB) regarding the Electric Power System Upgrade project. The letter acknowledges that the identification of historic properties is acceptable. The letter provides concurrence for the determination of non-eligibility for structures J, K, L, and Building 676. The letter reiterates that the proposed power line will span archaeological site CA-SBA-2446 and that archaeological monitoring will be performed because of the proximity of the site. Based on the commitment to avoid impacts to two properties with the Area of Potential Effect, the SHPO concurs with the project finding of no effect.
