Barriers to Comorbidity Management in Young People With Rheumatic Disease
The need for clear, evidence-based guidance on comorbidity management in young people with rheumatic diseases (RDs) is increasingly urgent.1 Individuals with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), childhood-onset systemic lupus erythematosus (cSLE), and other early-onset systemic inflammatory disorders face a lifelong burden of cardiometabolic, neurocognitive, reproductive, and psychosocial risk.2-4
