CosmoBeating • Force, Solidity, Void, Cosmos — Paper II: Void
CosmoBeating: Force, Solidity, Void, Cosmos (CB-FSVC)An Interface Ontology of the Causal Ledger A six-document series for readers in theoretical physics, philosophy of science, and information theory. It is not a popular introduction, but a disciplined, falsifiable reworking of four everyday pictures — force, solidity, void, and cosmos — that the series argues are quietly wrong. The core idea, stated plainly The series treats force, solidity, void, and cosmos not as settled physical categories but as an interface ontology of a causal ledger: a record written entry by entry, never all at once, readable only as much as it has been written. No new field equations are proposed. The series instead relocates four concepts, each checked against existing empirical anchors rather than derived from new mathematics. Why "solid" does not mean "full of matter" Atoms are almost entirely empty space; everyday impenetrability comes from electromagnetic repulsion and the exclusion principle, not packed particles. This series pushes that observation further: hardness is a manifestation of force, not matter, and a channel that were truly and fully occupied would, by definition, leave no room for force to occur. What we call solid is not more matter — it is force still actively holding a channel open. Why "empty" does not mean "nothing" Removing naive solidity leaves a question standing: what fills the space left over? The answer given is neither nothing nor another solid. Vacuum fluctuations, the non-zero momentum of massless photons, and the area-law behaviour of black hole horizons are used as empirical anchors, not proofs, for treating void as a non-nothing interface that still carries force precisely because it is not sealed shut. A gravitational singularity, on this reading, is an interface rather than an explosion from nothing. Why time might be resistance, not a river If a channel could be fully occupied in one stroke, force would vanish everywhere at once — so the causal ledger must be written incrementally. Time is read here as the name given to resistance experienced while an entry is still being written, not an independent flowing background. The speed of light is treated as a visible ceiling on how fast this writing can be observed, rather than a number fixed in advance. Why gravity might be a mattress, not a funnel The familiar image of mass digging a funnel into a flat sheet smuggles in exactly the errors the earlier papers remove: a solid ball, a static background, an outside observer. The series proposes instead that observers and stars sit within a mattress of interacting regions, with gravity read as mutual tension rather than externally imposed curvature. Dark regions are treated as tension already carrying weight but not yet visible electromagnetically — an open reading, not a rejection of particle-based dark matter searches. What the six documents cover A methodological prelude fixes a two-column discipline (measurable packages versus unmeasured differences) and forbids reading causes off from effects or overwriting causes with effects. Four core papers then work through Solidity, Void, Force, and Cosmos in sequence, each building on the one before. A closing appendix assigns final grading — empirical, structural interpretation, method, or metaphor bridge — to all eighteen propositions raised across the series, and names five explicit open problems rather than declaring them solved. A note on method The series keeps three registers separate: published empirical evidence, original structural interpretation, and metaphor used only as a discardable bridge. No sentence is intended to claim an open problem has been closed, or that an effect-side number has settled a cause-side question. Readers are invited to treat every structural claim as a falsifiable hypothesis, not settled physics.
