CLASSIFICATION TECHNOLOGY AS AN ELEMENT OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

The purpose of the article is to substantiate the fact that the G-method classification technology is a powerful research tool for artificial intelligence. In the cognition of the surrounding world and life, classification methods play a leading role. It can be argued that to know means to classify, it means to create artificial intelligence. Using multidimensional classification methods, the researcher significantly increases the capabilities of his intellect, makes new discoveries in the knowledge of him and the world in which he lives. The described classification technology makes it possible to identify homogeneous taxes of observations (types, classes, families, etc.), to evaluate statistical parameters, to assess the differences between taxes, and to determine the information weight of traits Comparison of homogeneous taxes makes it possible to identify and quantitatively describe the patterns of changes in the properties of objects, to effectively solve the problems of genesis, diagnosis and prognosis. Using the G-method technology, together with Italian, French, American and German colleagues, numerous classifications (more than 100) have been performed in generalizing Cosmo chemical, astrophysical, remote and other types of data on the Earth, the Moon, Mars, Jupiter, asteroids and in deep space. These results were published in Russia and abroad, presented in reports at international conferences and were highly appreciated by specialists. Thus, the high efficiency of the G-method as a reliable and effective means of artificial intelligence has been proven.
