Alienation Made Easy: A Guide to Making a Relationship Disappear — No Magic Required
This paper approaches parent-child alienation from an unconventional and provocative perspective. It explores how relationships may gradually come under pressure in highly conflicted separations and how different actors and dynamics can contribute to this process. Serious questions concerning family relationships, child welfare and professional intervention are combined with a narrative and at times satirical approach. The text invites readers to look at seemingly familiar situations from a different angle – and perhaps to notice what is easily overlooked
