Bibliometric analysis of techniques and technologies for reducing drag in the naval industry.

This study introduces a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of techniques and technologies aimed at reducing drag in the shipbuilding industry. Using Web of Science, relevant publications are compiled and analyzed to identify trends, prominent authors, leading institutions, and international collaborations in this field. The results show a growing interest in the design of efficient hulls, the use of advanced composite materials, and the implementation of surface modification technologies as key strategies for minimizing drag, thus improving energy efficiency and reducing vessel emissions in accordance with emerging regulations and limitations imposed on ships in the shipbuilding industry.
