The Physical Unification of Quantum Mechanics and General Relativity - Quantum Matter, Quantum Gravity, and Dynamical Spacetime as Sectors of One Fundamental Physical Dynamics
The unification of quantum mechanics and general relativity requires more than quantizing geometry or recovering both theories from compatible limits. It requires one physical subject to remain identifiable while matter and geometry transform and while spacetime itself becomes dynamical. We construct a single all-stage causal-set history dynamics in which quantum matter and quantum geometry are observables of that same physical history, with a normalized strongly positive projective decoherence functional D∞ and an exact joint source functional Z∞[Jg,Jm]. The resulting history representation yields Hilbert-space quantum mechanics, unitary evolution on the closed-identity sector, and Born weights on decoherent records; on the controlled Lorentzian continuum sector the same dynamics recovers renormalized QFT, Einstein-Hilbert gravity, renormalized stress-energy and semiclassical backreaction. The construction is possible because La Profilée(LP) supplies what the domain dynamics itself does not determine: the identity of a physical subject under transformation. LP fixes the identity-bearing and transformation-bearing roles and the admissibility relation between them; its physical verdicts Q1, Q2a and Q2b determine whether the subject continues to exist and whether transformed realizations remain the same subject, while π_p enforces coreference between microscopic histories and the identity-level description. Persistence is therefore not the primitive structure used here but the consequence of identity being preserved through admissible transformation. The causal-set, BDG and matter dynamics then supply the domain physics on this LP-typed identity carrier. We prove all-stage existence and projective consistency of the physical quantum dynamics, exact dynamical descent through the LP identity quotient, exact identity-level coreference through π_p, and the resulting history-Hilbert representation with unitary closed-system evolution and Born weights. Matter and geometry are observables of this same microscopic history dynamics. Geometric source deformations generate quantum-geometric propagators, higher connected correlators and 1PI vertices. On the certified continuum sector the BDG gravitational dynamics recovers Einstein gravity, while covariant quantum matter recovers renormalized QFT on the same reconstructed geometry; the renormalized stress-energy tensor closes the semiclassical backreaction equation. Thus QM/QFT and GR are not independently postulated theories subsequently coupled together: they are representations and recovery descriptions of one LP-identified physical dynamics. The same microscopic construction yields two further consequences. The proved sourcewise operator completeness induces an exact record-resolved isometry, excluding fundamental destruction of encoded quantum information in the complete fine-history operator realization; for black-hole evaporation this leaves information in the complete complement or, when that complement is input-independent, exact exterior recovery. Independently, for spherically symmetric relativistic stellar-fluid collapse, regular continuation of the stellar-fluid persister beyond the first specified horizon/trapping event implies τ_H < τ_loss, generalizing the explicit Oppenheimer–Snyder witness to a horizon–constitution separation theorem. The continuum bridge is additionally subjected to held-out finite-density numerical tests. The predicted O(rho^-1) variance scaling and independently computed continuum targets are recovered across massive scalar benchmarks, while no statistically resolved LP-specific mean deviation is found in the regular flat reference sector. The paper therefore separates three claims: LP supplies the structurally prior identity conditions that make cross-regime physical coreference possible; the LP-CST realization unifies QM/QFT, quantum geometry and GR as sectors of one fundamental dynamics; and LP adds typed physical identity verdicts to domain dynamics. An exact Oppenheimer-Snyder collapse family supplies a GR proof of principle that horizon formation and cessation of a continuing material-fluid subject are distinct typed boundaries.
