The 0.05 eV Topological Latency: A Predictive Falsification of Continuous Mass in the DUNE LArTPC Baseline
The Fermilab Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE) operates on the fundamental assumption that the neutrino is a continuous particle possessing an invariant resting mass traversing a continuous R4 Minkowski manifold. Consequently, the project interprets any detected energy deficit between the emission source and the Liquid Argon Time Projection Chambers (LArTPC) as physical mass. This paper formally falsifies that assumption using the Single-Instance Computational Cosmos (SICC) Phase 17 framework. We demonstrate that the anticipated ∼ 0.05 eV deficit is not a resting mass, but the exact energy signature of a discrete topological latency—a skipped state-update on a resource-bounded D4 lattice. We predict that this 0.05 eV signal will not manifest as a static scalar, but will exhibit distinct quantized jitter. This jitter is derived structurally from the dynamic informational load of the varying geological density along the 800-mile transit path. By defining the exact non-linear step-functions of this signal prior to detector activation, we mathematically eliminate the possibility of a continuous mass interpretation and establish the SICC D4 substrate as the required operational geometry.
