Applications of the FARCOS correlator in the CHIFAR experiment: The pixelation technique, the IMFs identification and the study of the isospin role in the dynamical emission effects
The CHIFAR experiment at the INFN-LNS couples the 4π CHIMERA multi-detector with 10 telescopes of the FARCOS (Femtoscope ARray for COrrelations and Spectroscopy) correlator. Each FARCOS telescope is a threestage device consisting of two DSSSDs (300 and 1500 μm) followed by 4 CsI(Tl) crystals (6 cm), providing high energy and angular resolution. Charged particles are identified with the ΔE-E method, while hit positions in the laboratory frame are reconstructed through the pixelation method. We present preliminary results on the role of isospin in dynamical emission.
