The genome sequence of Samolus valerandi L., 1753 (Ericales: Primulaceae)
We present a genome assembly of Samolus valerandi (Brookweed; Streptophyta; Magnoliopsida; Ericales; Primulaceae). The genome sequence has a total length of 503.53 megabases. Most of the assembly (99.96%) is scaffolded into 13 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial sequence has a length of 431.15 kilobases and the plastid genome assemblies have lengths of 160.37 and 155.08 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces reference genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
