Artefact-Anchored Oral Defence: Typology and Practitioner Materials

Supplementary and practitioner materials for a functional typology of questions in artefact-anchored oral defence. The typology proposes seven response relations describing the account a student can be asked to give of a named element of their own submitted work. This project holds resources developed alongside the article, including a playbook for designing question sets for formative and summative oral defence, together with further materials added over time. The article is available as a preprint on EdArXiv.

Abstract

Supplementary and practitioner materials for a functional typology of questions in artefact-anchored oral defence. The typology proposes seven response relations describing the account a student can be asked to give of a named element of their own submitted work. This project holds resources developed alongside the article, including a playbook for designing question sets for formative and summative oral defence, together with further materials added over time. The article is available as a preprint on EdArXiv.
