Baryon Junction Detected at RHIC/STAR 2026: Direct Confirmation of the Connection Ontology of the Unified Wave Cosmological Model.

Abstract In August 2026, the STAR Collaboration at RHIC published results (in press, Science) showing that baryon number in protons is carried not by quarks, but by a gluonic Y-shaped junction — a baryon junction [8]. This contradicts the standard quark-parton model, in which baryon number is distributed among three valence quarks. The Unified Wave Cosmological Model (UWCM) [1–4, 9] postulates that the fundamental properties of particles are encoded in the configuration of connections, not in individual nodes. In UWCM, baryon number is a property of the connectivity topology of the Plast network. The discovered Y-shaped structure is exactly the topological invariant predicted by UWCM for stable configurations. This work demonstrates that the RHIC/STAR 2026 result provides direct empirical confirmation of the connection ontology of UWCM, independently confirming its key principles: the primacy of connections over nodes, the localization of information in connectivity, and the birth of matter from the energy of connections.
