"FORMULATION DEVELOPMENT AND EVALUATION OF SIMVASTATIN LOADED POLYMERIC MICELLES"
A wound is described as "tissue harm or any injury to the skin surface produced by a cut, blow, or any other impact." Accidents, surgery, stitches, and underlying disorders like diabetes, vascular ulcers, and skin issues (such as eczema or psoriasis) are all common causes of wounds. The complicated process of wound repair involves the renewal of damaged skin or other organs. In most cases, minor wounds are not harmful, but sanitation is crucial. First aid may be necessary for severe and infected wounds before medication. Different patients are affected by wounds to varying degrees, and advanced wound care encompasses more than just promoting quicker and more effective healing.[3] According to the extent of the skin and tissue damage, wounds are typically categorized into two categories: acute wounds and chronic wounds.[2]
