Topical Steroid Withdrawal Syndrome and Adverse Effects of Topical Corticosteroids in Vulval Lichen Sclerosus: a Single-centre Retrospective Study in New Zealand

Retrospective study in New Zealand reviewing the incidence of topical steroid withdrawal (TSW) and other adverse effects related to topical corticosteroid (TCS) use in vulval lichen sclerosus (VLS). No patients experienced TSW and majority of patients did not experience any adverse effects. There is insufficient evidence to conclude that TSW is a potential adverse effect of long term TCS use for VLS.
