REVOLUTIONIZING MOBILITY: ADVANCES IN LOWER LIMB REHABILITATION STRATEGIES FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH PARALYSIS

ABSTRACTLower limb disorders have effect on lower part of the body such as thighs between thehips and knees joints, lower leg and foot. Paralysis is occurring dude to the strain and thebrain stroke etc. And it was for the paralyzed people’s paralysis is the state that theimmovement of an object and that paralysis is two types partial paralysis one side of the bodynot having the motor activity of the muscles. The one side of the body not moving which ispartial paralysis. In order to overcome these problems, in this project we are going to buysmall leg-based structure using 3D printing technology. The design has integration for servomotors, which in turn links to the supply unit and microcontroller. Microcontroller board alsoattaches with the EMG electrodes. The microcontroller board is also connected with EMGelectrode which is interlinked in the other leg or non-paralyzed leg which gives signal. Thesignal triggered in it, then it will make the leg structure to do the movement once with thedelay and this project helps to make effective design of lower limb design for paralyzedpeople using EMG electrodes. With 70 to 80 percent of success rate. The lower limb designmoves with the help of the servomotor and its mechanism. The signal from the EMG sensorthat is triggered the servomotor and the leg design moves the it makes effective. The non-paralyzed leg moves and the signals transferred then the leg design moves.
