Abstract

This archive supports the paper "Time-Resolved Surface-Fault Displacement During the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake From Near-Fault Video." It contains the analysis code, frozen configurations, machine-readable derived results, validation records, and distributable computational figures used to audit the reported displacement history. A portable check reproduces the primary result: the central 60% (0.829759 m) of the 1.383 m field displacement vector developed in approximately 0.9 s. Across the frozen endpoint-normalization grid, the 20-80% durations are 0.866-0.901 s for optical flow and 0.910-0.928 s for normalized cross-correlation. The native security-camera recording was automatically deleted and could not be recovered. The analyzed smartphone recording of the monitor is identified by its SHA-256 checksum but is not redistributed. Extracted frames and third-party imagery are also excluded. The archive preserves unsuccessful and exploratory diagnostics as well as the primary analysis so that the limits of the available secondary recording remain transparent.
