Faculty of Nanomedicine | The Sawe–Singh Ceiling: An Age-Adjusted Marathon Performance Reference Instrument

This publication presents Version 1.0 of the Sawe–Singh Ceiling, an author-originated reference instrument that estimates an age-adjusted hypothetical marathon performance ceiling from ages 31 to 100. It provides a year-by-year reference sequence, the underlying calculation method, a worked example for age 62, and a structured recording form for monitoring individual progress over time. The instrument is intended for observational, educational, and research use. It offers a transparent reference point rather than a prediction, performance prescription, or clinically validated assessment. Individual results may differ substantially according to health, training history, environment, injury, disability, and other personal factors. Published under the Faculty of Nanomedicine, International Virtual University of Regenerative Health (IVURH).
