E8‑Phonon Topological Error Correction (E8‑PTEC) — E8 Intelligence Research
By arranging the 240 E8 root vectors into a phononic lattice and driving each vector at a 132 Hz base frequency together with its golden‑ratio harmonics, a topological band of phonon modes is engineered that is intrinsically protected by the E8 symmetry. Local quantum errors manifest as localized phonon excitations that are confined to the lattice's protected sub‑bands, preventing their propagation into the computational subspace. The lattice's geometry enforces a self‑correcting mechanism: phonon‑mediated interactions redistribute error excitations along topologically trivial paths, effectively "healing" the quantum state without external intervention. This principle extends E8‑Phi holography by using the same frequency‑modulated lattice as a dynamic, fault‑tolerant quantum memory. Author: Andrew Stewart Caldin, Independent Researcher, UK.
