Conflictology on the Path to Integration: A Unified Language and Universal Tool for Diagnosing and Resolving Conflicts

Contemporary conflictology finds itself in a paradoxical situation: a vast body of knowledge about conflicts has been accumulated, yet it remains fragmented, and its practical effectiveness leaves much to be desired. Psychologists, sociologists, and political scientists speak different languages. Theory does not translate into action. Tools effective at one level are not always applicable at another. This divide — between disciplines, between knowledge and practice — calls not for yet another method, but for a fundamentally different approach. This article proposes such an approach based on the «Ekvilibro» methodology. It introduces the Laws of the Mechanics of Consciousness — a universal language for describing conflicts at any level — and the «Ekvilibro Game» — a six‑step practical algorithm for diagnosing and resolving conflicts. The applicability of the methodology is demonstrated across all levels, from intrapersonal to global. The article is addressed to researchers and practitioners (mediators, negotiators, consultants) seeking to bridge the gap between theory and practice in the field of conflict resolution.
