Modeling of the development of the agrarian sector of Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur in the context of the Great Return
The problems of modeling the development of the agrarian sector in Karabakh and East Zangezur in the context of the Great Return were investigated. The strategic importance of the return of former internally displaced persons to post-conflict areas was substantiated. The positive aspects of the new economic zoning in the country were given. The characteristics of the newly created Karabakh and East Zangezur economic regions were analyzed. The measures taken and the projects implemented within the framework of the Great Return were analyzed. In particular, the strategic importance of the intensive settlement of the cities of Agdam and Fuzuli was given. The problems of intensification of construction work in post-conflict areas were explained. The measures taken to implement the First State Program on Ensuring the Great Return were summarized. The socio-economic importance of the construction of residential areas, the restoration of villages, settlements, and cities in the Karabakh and East Zangezur economic regions was noted. The necessity of productive use of the potential of the agrarian sector in the development of these important economic regions was stated. The importance of creating production infrastructure to ensure employment in post-conflict areas was stated. The importance of creating a network of enterprises through the efficient use of natural resources in these areas was brought to attention. Taking into account new challenges, proposals have been prepared for the development of the agricultural sector in the Karabakh and East Zangezur economic regions.
