DIPS: The Channel Configuration Is the Quantum Assignment
Erratum to DIPS: The Channel Configuration Is the Quantum Assignment (Version 1). This note clarifies how a DIPS becomes a quantum decision variable. One identified channel — who to whom, through what instrument, at which lag, with continuous strength — supplies one binary variable: keep or drop that channel. The discrete tags name the variable; they are not separate bits, and they are not a binary encoding of the euro amount. Strength, stock and memory enter the coefficients of the selection energy and of the companion map; they are not annealed as decisions. It also corrects one bibliographic link: the DOI attached to Kato (1966) points to a later reprint of the second edition, not to the first edition named in the reference list. Rules R1–R8, the compilation procedure, the experiments and all reported numbers of Version 1 are unchanged. The archival preprint remains Version 1: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.22107929.
