Reported Changes in Glycated Hemoglobin and Blood Pressure Across Common Diabetes Interventions: An Exploratory Secondary Analysis
This exploratory secondary analysis compares reported changes in glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), blood pressure, and insulin-related outcomes across ten pharmacological and lifestyle interventions for diabetes. Treatment-effect estimates were compiled from previously published scientific and medical sources and organized into a standardized modeling framework. During reconstruction of the original project, two demonstrable calculation errors were corrected without altering any source-derived treatment-effect values. Exploratory one-way ANOVA of the corrected modeled dataset produced F(11,24) = 2.68, p = .021 for HbA1c and F(11,24) = 1.72, p = .128 for blood pressure. Because the dataset consists of literature-derived and modeled values rather than independent patient-level observations, these statistics should not be interpreted as evidence of comparative clinical efficacy. This Zenodo record contains the reconstructed research manuscript, a cleaned publication data workbook with a correction log and source-attribution audit, and the unchanged original research poster. The original poster is preserved as a historical project output; where calculations or interpretations differ, the reconstructed manuscript and cleaned dataset provide the corrected analysis.
