Cover Feature: Extending Cofactor‐Tethered Nanomachines to Complex Multienzyme Redox Cascades in Continuous Flow (ChemSusChem 17/2026)
The Cover Feature places cofactor-tethered fused-enzyme nanomachines in the spotlight, connecting molecular-scale design with industrial-scale biocatalysis. The continuous-flow reactor represents the reliance of conventional redox enzyme cascades on freely diffusing, valuable nicotinamide cofactors, whereas the nanomachine strategy retains and recycles these cofactors to support cofactor-autonomous operation, advancing sustainable biomanufacturing.
