REGEN-X: A Closed-Loop Bioresorbable Regenerative Scaffold for Patient-Specific Healing Monitoring and Adaptive Local Therapy
REGEN-X is a conceptual closed-loop bioresorbable regenerative scaffold designed to integrate multimodal biosensing, patient-specific healing-state estimation, trajectory-based monitoring, confidence-aware decision logic, and adaptive local therapeutic control. The proposed system aims to continuously characterize the local regenerative environment and adapt therapeutic activity according to deviations from an expected healing trajectory. This manuscript presents the system architecture, methodology, proposed control framework, validation strategy, limitations, and future research directions. The work is conceptual and does not report human or animal clinical results.
