Yan Festschrift editorial
This special issue celebrates YiJing Yan on the occasion of his 70th birthday and honors his substantial contributions to quantum dynamics and theoretical chemistry. It showcases recent advances in modern chemical physics, reflecting his lasting impact on these fields. We begin by reflecting on Yan's remarkable scientific journey, followed by a guided tour of the contributions collected in this commemorative issue. A biographical sketch of Yan is also featured in this issue [Y. J. Yan, J. Chem. Phys. 165(2), 020401 (2026)].
