The genome sequence of the Alder Signal, Stathmopoda pedella (Linnaeus, 1761) (Lepidoptera: Oecophoridae)
We present a genome assembly from an individual male Stathmopoda pedella (Alder Signal; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Oecophoridae). The assembly contains two haplotypes with total lengths of 727.85 megabases and 727.80 megabases. Most of haplotype 1 (99.78%) and haplotype 2 (99.72%) are each scaffolded into 30 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 15.27 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
