RED&Pro Website and Logo

Regenerative Ecologies of Design and Production (RED&Pro) is bringing together researchers, makers, designers, and communitites to move beyond sustainability, toward production systems that are rooted in place, guided by heritage, and built to give back. D5.3 "Logo and Landing Page" documents the first iteration of RED&Pro's visual identity, developed within the project's opening two months. It covers three interconnected outcomes: the co-design process through which all 13 consortium partners collectively established a shared brand direction; the first logo variation, developed by award-winning Portuguese designer Silvia Matias; and the launch of the project's first public presence at www.redandpro.eu. The brand development process was grounded in a participatory methodology: three distinct identity directions were presented to the full consortium during the Barcelona kickoff and evaluated through a structured session combining silent voting, live feedback, and facilitated group discussion. The synthesis that emerged informed boththe visual brief given to the designer and the initial communication strategy outlined in this document. As the Grant Agreement specifies, this deliverable is "continuously updated": the full visual identity system, brand guidelines, and complete website will be delivered as part of D5.1 Open Modular Branding Kit in November 2026.
