On the uniqueness of stress and entropy flux at the type II thermoelasticty

Abstract In this short note, we provide two uniqueness results for the stress and entropy flux of the solutions to the problem of the thermoelasticity of type II, in the case that the variables of the problem are the stress tensor and the entropy flux vector and when we do not assume any condition on the sign of the rate thermal conductivity (or the elasticity tensor). We use the Lagrange identities argument.
