The Topological Equivalence Principle: Algorithmic Nullification of Metropolis Drag in Gravitational Free-Fall in QGEFT
The current Paper 84 benchmark does not claim that continuum general relativity, the exact Newtonian limit, or a full metric theory has been derived from first principles. It does show that the verified QGEFT repository now resolves, in one self-contained Monte-Carlo experiment, the equivalence principle as a direct consequence of the Metropolis acceptance law. In flat vacuum, mass-dependent algorithmic drag fully controls motion: the electron diffuses to a mean displacement of `9.88` hops while the tau is pinned at `1.38` hops. In the pressure cascade of a 240-edge super-node, both an electron-like (`N_higgs = 1`) and a tau-like (`N_higgs = 25`) motif fall to the centre in the same `51.9` sweeps with a mean-trajectory separation of only `0.125` hops — the curves overlap almost perfectly. The equivalence transition is resolved exactly at the predicted threshold `g* = ½κN_higgs = 3.75`, where the heavy particle's acceptance jumps from `≈0%` to `100%` (simulation reaches 99% at `g = 4.0`). A Galilean scan across six masses (`N_higgs ∈ {1,2,4,8,15,25}`) shows free-fall times spanning only `49.2–51.6` sweeps — a spread of `2.4` sweeps, well inside the per-mass statistical noise of `≈14.7` — while flat-vacuum progress collapses with mass (`0.59 → 0.10`). Mass vanishes from the effective equation of motion whenever the system returns energy through gravity, building directly on the emergent-mass mechanism of Paper 82 and the zero-drag motifs of Paper 83.
