D2.3 First SSH KG Release

This deliverable continues a single line of work: D2.1 (the GRAPHIA Ontology) defined the semantic ground, D2.2 (the Technical Architecture) designed the system that supports the federation of knowledge graphs at the core of the SSH Knowledge Graph, and D2.3 now delivers its first fully implemented node: the GoTriple1 KG. D2.4 (Data Acquisition Platform, M24) will follow with the upstream platform that feeds this release. The GoTriple KG is a consolidated corpus of Social Sciences and Humanities scholarly metadata, built on GoT riple, the OPERAS discovery platform that indexes some 20 million documents and 18 million author profiles from more than 1,500 sources. V1 converts that operational content into native RDF, stores it in a single QLever triplestore selected on the evidence of a 155-million-triple benchmark, and serves it read-only to anyone at stable public addresses: a SPARQL API at kg-api.gotriple.eu and a web interface at kg.gotriple.eu. Alongside it, the Federated Gateway, the component that will let a single question reach across many independent SSH knowledge graphs, advances as a working proof of concept on its own dedicated track. The two are complementary: the GoT riple KG is one of the essential graphs supporting the SSH KG, alongside ORKG, GESIS and OpenCitations, and the gateway is why it is built the way it is, designed from the start to take its place in a federation. Throughout, this document is explicit wherever the deployed system simplifies the target design: it states what was implemented, why, and where the gap sits on the roadmap. Abstract

Anyone interested is welcome to provide their feedback on this report and its content via this form until the 30th of September 2026. Funded by the European Union.
