Public libraries are gradually shifting from traditional places for storing knowledge to active centres for community development. In recent times, community- based livelihood programs organized through public libraries have become important sweats to promote profitable growth, create jobs, encourage entrepreneurship, and increase access to digital tools. These enterprises include training for job skills, tutoring digital knowledge, perfecting fiscal knowledge, furnishing guidance for tone- employment, offering information on husbandry, supporting women's commission, and aiding people from depressed backgrounds. This study looks at the openings, challenges, and benefits of society and the frugality of these programs that take place in public libraries. The paper shows how libraries can help reduce poverty, produce jobs, promote social inclusion, and support the long- term development of communities. It also looks at the difficulties, such as a lack of capital, limited technology, a lack of good workers, and a lack of government support. The study suggests that if supported by programs, cooperation between different institutions, and community involvement, public libraries can be strong tools for changing society and the future.
