Cumulative Damage Analysis of Column-Bearing Silo Structure Under Mainshock-Aftershock Sequences Effect
The analysis results indicate that when the aftershock intensity is relatively low, the maximum drift angle alone is inadequate to fully reflect the structural damage caused by the aftershock. The residual drift angle is significantly affected by the PGA, storage conditions and different MS-AS sequences, making it highly discrete as a result of evaluating silo structural damage. In contrast, Park-Ang damage index can comprehensively reflect the structural deformation and cumulative hysteretic energy dissipation.
