Performance Evaluation and Operational Optimization of Micro Gas Turbine Systems for Engineering Applications

A steady-state model of a 100 kW recuperated micro gas turbine generated performance maps and identified favorable operating states. Load-specific optimization increased thermal efficiency by up to 11.5% and reduced specific fuel consumption by up to 6.9% within prescribed constraints.
