A MISSING PARAMETER IN THE ANNIHILATION CROSS-SECTION (IV v4)

The standard Quantum Electrodynamics (QED) model of electron-positron annihilation assumes a point-like, spin-averaged cross-section that is isotropic in the absence of external polarization. However, a set of ten well-documented astrophysical and experimental anomalies — ranging from the massive, spherically symmetric 511 keV emission in the Galactic bulge to the SS 433 jet deficit and the AMS-02 positron fraction rise — remains unexplained under this assumption. In this paper, we show that these anomalies are unified by a single pregeometric factor: the relative alignment angle θ rel of the helical-toroidal throats of the electron and positron Einstein-Rosen (ER) bridges. We reformulate the annihilation cross-section as σ(v) = σ QED (v) · P(θ rel ), where parallel alignment (θ rel → 0) geometrically blocks the overlap of the throat horizons, rendering the pair stable against annihilation. Magnetic fields act as statistical organizers, restricting precessional averaging and creating macroscopic regions of alignment-induced suppression or facilitation.
