Roebuck's Law 6: Dissipation Displacement and Spatial Relocation of Entropy Production

This methods preprint distinguishes entropy flux across a boundary from irreversible entropy production within a region. Version 2 preserves the bounded observation that a subsystem may reduce local entropy content by exporting heat, matter, and entropy, while requiring spatially and temporally explicit entropy and exergy maps over the enclosing supersystem. No experimental validation is claimed.

Abstract

This methods preprint distinguishes entropy flux across a boundary from irreversible entropy production within a region. Version 2 preserves the bounded observation that a subsystem may reduce local entropy content by exporting heat, matter, and entropy, while requiring spatially and temporally explicit entropy and exergy maps over the enclosing supersystem. No experimental validation is claimed.
