Shimmering Ontology Matter as a point of reinforcement and resonance in a multidimensional and timeless fog of quantum frequencies
Abstract The Cognitive Shimmering (CS) framework describes the emergence of coherent cognitive patterns from the interference of overlapping spectral components, borrowing a conceptual framework from the acoustic physics of shimmer (phase vocoder, Feedback Delay Networks, Hadamard coupling). This paper extends this framework in an ontological sense, proposing that the same formal scheme can be traced, by structural homology, to the way contemporary physics describes the emergence of matter and time. Compared to the previous version, the paper introduces two elements: (1) the substrate from which everything emerges is not only wave-like but multidimensional and timeless at a fundamental level (Hilbert space, Wheeler-DeWitt equation); (2) the dynamics that generates stable patterns is not pure selection between alternatives, but continuous correlational enrichment, in which each new interaction locks onto the existing structure and redefines it — a mechanism illustrated by the coupling between oscillators (injection locking), by Prigogine's dissipative structures, and by the experimental evidence of neural cliques that grow and collapse in topological dimensionality. The philosophical, not physical-theoretical, status of the proposed synthesis is explicitly declared.
