Grand Consistency Theory: Foundations and Microscopic Axioms

Grand Consistency Theory (GCT) is a pre-geometric relational framework that investigates whether spacetime, quantum dynamics, gravity, particle physics, and cosmology can emerge from a single microscopic consistency structure. This first paper establishes the foundations and microscopic axioms of the theory. The primitive model is defined by a finite relational structure consisting of an oriented simplicial carrier, microscopic state space, boundary structure, consistency constraints, statistical weights, internal algebra, real structure, and microscopic measure. The primitive carrier is the oriented boundary of the five-simplex, with refinement governed by a fixed constraint-preserving rule. The framework treats particles, fields, spacetime, and quantum dynamics as effective structures intended to emerge from the same microscopic system. It establishes the principles of relational primacy, sector universality, non-circularity, refinement stability, continuum admissibility, and falsifiability. This paper serves as Paper I of the Grand Consistency Theory research series and provides the fixed microscopic foundation for subsequent work on the Constraint Laplacian, spectral geometry, emergent spacetime, quantum theory, gauge structure, fundamental constants, gravity, cosmology, and observational tests. Scientific status: GCT is presented at this stage as a conditional microscopic unification framework. Its completion requires explicit evaluation of the fixed microscopic model, verification of refinement-stable continuum limits, and joint comparison of derived predictions with observation.
