CSTM: Quaternionic Temporal Geometry, Matter-Antimatter Phase Structure and the Emergence of Holography
Abstract We present a compact formulation of CSTM in which the macroscopic time coordinate is treated as the observable projection of a higher-dimensional internal temporal structure. The fundamental variable is represented by a quaternionic temporal field, 𝕋(x)=t₀+t₁i+t₂j+t₃k, or locally in polar form 𝕋=T exp(nθ), with n²=-1. Matter and antimatter are modeled as conjugate sectors distinguished by an internal phase separation Δθ rather than by different local laws. This construction permits a precise separation between the observable time coordinate, the internal phase variable, and the relative matter-antimatter phase. We then summarize the effective-field and geometric consequences developed within CSTM: a phase-sector description can reproduce the Newtonian 1/r potential under a long-range limit, but an additive scalar realization generically produces extra gravitational degrees of freedom and therefore cannot serve as the fundamental formulation. The consistent route is instead constitutive: the quaternionic temporal structure must generate the tetrad and hence the metric itself, 𝕋→eᵃ_μ→g_μν. In the high-density regime, the matter-antimatter phase separation is described by a finite critical transition rather than a physical divergence. Finally, we propose that holographic behavior may emerge when internal temporal degrees of freedom become inaccessible under projection or coarse-graining. In this reading, AdS/CFT is not rejected; it is treated as a possible effective boundary realization of a deeper temporal-geometric mechanism. The paper isolates the central open problem—constructing the explicit map eᵃ_μ=Fᵃ_μ(𝕋,D𝕋)—and states a falsifiable program based on recovering Newtonian gravity, the post-Newtonian limit, Schwarzschild geometry, black-hole thermodynamics, and a differential observable without post hoc parameter adjustment. Keywords CSTM; quaternionic time; temporal phase; matter-antimatter; tetrads; torsion; emergent gravity; holography; black holes; AdS/CFT. Scope This article is a synthesis of the current CSTM temporal-geometry program. It distinguishes established mathematical identities used by the construction from CSTM-specific hypotheses that remain to be derived. No claim is made here that the framework is experimentally established.
