ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN MUSIC EDUCATION: OPPORTUNITIES, CHALLENGES, AND PEDAGOGICAL PERSPECTIVES

Artificial intelligence (AI) has become an important component of modern education, offering new opportunities to improve teaching and learning processes. In music education, AI technologies support personalized learning, creative development, and innovative teaching practices through intelligent digital tools. The purpose of this study is to examine the role of artificial intelligence in modern music education and evaluate its impact on teaching effectiveness, student creativity, and individualized learning. The study is based on a qualitative review of recent scientific publications related to AI applications in music education. The findings indicate that AI enhances students' engagement, provides adaptive learning opportunities, facilitates assessment, and supports teachers in planning and organizing educational activities. However, the effective implementation of AI requires ethical use, digital competence, and the balanced integration of technology with traditional pedagogical approaches. The study concludes that artificial intelligence should be regarded as a supportive educational tool that enriches music education while preserving the essential role of teachers in developing students' artistic and creative abilities.
