A Superstring Model with a Natural Solution to the Landscape Problem
We construct a mathematical model of the superstring in a helical configuration, realising L. V. Prokhorov’s vision of space as a three-dimensional network of superstrings at the Planck scale. The fundamental object is a quantised bosonic Nambu–Goto string, effectively described by the Cosserat–Kirchhoff rod theory. We derive the complete normal-mode spectrum — six branches: two transverse bending (degenerate, ω² ∝ k⁴), one longitudinal (ω² ∝ k²), one torsional (ω² ∝ k²), one breathing (gapped, ω₀ > 0), and one helical wave. Coupling the spiral modes to Prokhorov’s thermostat, we show that the Fokker–Planck equation yields the Gibbs distribution, and that the Bargmann measure and Fock‑space quantisation emerge with ħ = 1/(βω) as the quantum of action. Quantisation on the helical cross‑section gives half‑integer angular momentum J = ħ/2, so fermions arise from spiral geometry — the bosonic string twisted into a spiral gives the Ramond–Neveu–Schwarz superstring. The gauge group SU(5) is selected by the Principle of Maximal Stability (PMS) via the stability index r = l/N; its breaking yields sin²θ_W = 3/8 at the GUT scale, evolving to ≈ 0.231 at M_Z. PMS selects exactly three generations. The intrinsic chirality of the helix satisfies all three Sakharov conditions for baryogenesis. One key algebraic theorem is formalised and machine‑verified in Lean 4 with Mathlib.
