The genome sequence of the Small Seraphim, Pterapherapteryx sexalata (Retzius, 1783) (Lepidoptera: Geometridae)
We present a genome assembly from an individual male Pterapherapteryx sexalata (Small Seraphim; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Geometridae). The assembly contains two haplotypes with total lengths of 289.12 megabases and 306.72 megabases. Most of haplotype 1 (98.84%) is scaffolded into 32 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z sex chromosome and the B 1 chromosome. Haplotype 2 was assembled to scaffold level. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 15.63 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
