It was found that boys excel over girls in the performance of mathematics whereas there was no significance of difference was found between boys and girls groups in terms of Hindi performance. Further, students from urban and rural settings schools differ neither in the performance of Mathematics nor in the performance of Hindi. Thus, it was concluded that performance of Mathematics of boys is better than girls. Moreover, performance of Hindi is independent of gender difference.
