Rotational Spectrum Analysis of 1,1,1,2- tetraflouroethyl-trifluoromethyl ether
Refrigerant gases are used everyday however people do not realize that some of them are severely hazardous to their health and destructive to the environment. To find a more effective and safe refrigerant gas, the sturctures of potential molecules must be analyzed to determine how they react with the ozone. In this experiment, the rotational Constants of 1,1,1,2-tetraflouroethyl-triflouromethyl ether were found to be A=2012.19340140542MHz, B=645.495850572838MHz, and C=595.613041961439MHz.
