A Marxist Perspective of Landlord-Tenant Relationships

In this research project, I will first identify tenants and landlords in the United States as my intended subject. Then I will introduce the relational history of landlords and tenants, and how capitalism has changed that relationship over time. The methods of my research will be briefly discussed, followed by a review of the literature I selected. Using these methods I considered these sources together to analyze the trajectory and current state of U.S. landlords and tenants. Following this, I consider my personal affiliations to this subject of inquiry, as well as how the university helped me attain my research goals.
