Anxiety in The 21st Century

This capstone will look into different factors that lead to anxiety. In doing so the aim is to try to confirm that factors in everyday life that we have no control over have a greater affect on anxiety. The origin for this project was a study done by Jeremy Smith in Epic Measures, that stated that in the next 50 years we would experience 221 deaths from Anxiety. This caused me to wonder specifically where this number could potentially stem from. In looking for this number I look into trends in America in the 21st Century.
