Personas of the Reaper: Understanding and Coping with Mortality Through the Personification of Death

This paper analyzes three literary works that involve their own version of the Grim Reaper. It will dive into Death's characterization and how his role in each story. Each narrative offers their own way of understanding and coping with one's own mortality through the interactions between other characters and Death itself. By discussing these unique perspectives on death, I will then provide my own perspective of death through my own short story and explanation of the view of death presented.
