Dancing to a Precarious Rhythm: Embodiment in a New York Restaurant
Ron's Beer Hall is an extension of this precarious economy. Its workers are its agents that not only repeatedly participate in its fluctuating rhythms for a living but are also moved by them themselves. Their every day, their sense of the world, their sense of themselves are just as contoured by precarity as the labor they carry out. The project unpacks how these workers attune to precarity with their bodies and therefore, master flows of affect, capital, time and connection.
