My senior thesis, The Labyrinth and the Wall: Overcoming Obstacles, is based on the paintings I have created, describing each one in full detail, and focusing on the themes of mental health and what it means to be a woman in society. Some of the the works in this thesis also pay homage to the works of Eva Hesse, Lynda Benglis, Lee Bontecou, Jackie Winsor, Barbara Hepworth and Kiki Smith.
