A Critical Reflection of my Work with Generocksity and How it Has Prepared me to Create My Own Non-Profit Post College.

This paper discusses the critical reflection method, how it is used to analytically reflect my past practices, and how it will ultimately improve my future endeavors with non-profit work. First, I discuss the concept of critical reflection, it’s theoretical makeup, and that it derives from reflective practice. I go on to explain why reflexivity serves as the basis of my critical reflection analysis. I then critically reflect my work with a non-profit start-up I’ve been a part of since 2016. Lastly, I present my revised theory of practice and how it is an improvement from my original thought process.

Abstract

This paper discusses the critical reflection method, how it is used to analytically reflect my past practices, and how it will ultimately improve my future endeavors with non-profit work. First, I discuss the concept of critical reflection, it’s theoretical makeup, and that it derives from reflective practice. I go on to explain why reflexivity serves as the basis of my critical reflection analysis. I then critically reflect my work with a non-profit start-up I’ve been a part of since 2016. Lastly, I present my revised theory of practice and how it is an improvement from my original thought process.
